Your Summer 2025 Travel Game Plan: Where to Go, When to Book & What to Know

Your Summer 2025 Travel Game Plan: Where to Go, When to Book & What to Know

Ah, May. That sweet spot where spring is in full bloom and summer is calling our name louder than a poolside margarita. If you’ve been thinking about planning a summer getaway but haven’t made a move yet… this is your sign.

Whether you’re dreaming of sailing around Greek islands, lounging in an all-inclusive with a frozen drink in hand, or hitting the open road with the kids in tow—let’s get your game plan locked in.

Where to Go This Summer

If you’re still deciding, here are some of my favorite picks clients are loving right now:

Greece: Island-hopping, fresh seafood, and postcard views you don’t need a filter for.

Italy: The classics never fail—Rome, the Amalfi Coast, or a slow-paced villa stay in Tuscany.

All-Inclusive Resorts: Think Sandals or Hyatt Ziva—no planning, no stress, just show up and relax.

U.S. National Parks: For those who love nature, fresh air, and a lighter travel pace.

Not sure which vibe suits your summer? I’ve got ideas to match your mood, your budget, and yes—even your kids’ nap schedules.

When to Book (Spoiler: Now)

The short answer? The earlier the better.

Summer: flights and hotels are already filling up, especially for Europe and beach resorts.

Fall getaways: (yes, we’re already seeing holiday buzz!) should start being booked in May/June to lock in best prices.

Holiday travel: (think Thanksgiving or winter break) → don’t wait till summer ends to start. You’ll thank me later.

Pro Tips for Smooth Travel

Here’s what I always tell my clients (and yes, I take my own advice):

Pack carry-on only! (if you can but I challenge you to really try it!) You’ll be faster through the airport and less stressed when a bag goes missing (because it won’t!).

TSA PreCheck or Global Entry is a game-changer!

Travel insurance is not optional in 2025. Trust me—it’s worth it for the peace of mind alone.

Give yourself cushion time between flights or tours. Travel should feel like a vacation, not a sprint.
